Start with the days you have

Count your arrival and departure days separately from full safari days. A three-day itinerary and a six-day itinerary offer different amounts of driving and time in each park. Read the daily route before comparing the headline duration.

Our 3-day Tarangire and Ngorongoro safari focuses on those two destinations. The 6-day migration itinerary adds time in the Serengeti. Tell us whether your travel dates are fixed or flexible so we can discuss a realistic route.

Choose parks around your interests

Start with one or two priorities rather than trying to include every destination. You might want time watching wildlife, a particular landscape, a slower pace or a beach extension. Our destination pages introduce the parks, while the itinerary pages show how they fit into a journey.

For migration-focused travel, discuss the relevant Serengeti area for your dates with the team. Wildlife movement and river crossings are natural events; a particular sighting cannot be promised.

Compare what each proposal includes

A quote is easier to compare when its assumptions are clear. Ask for the accommodation, meal plan, vehicle arrangement, park fees, transfers and optional activities to be listed. Check where the journey starts and ends, and whether arrival or departure nights are included.

• Confirm the number of travellers sharing the quoted services.

• Ask which items are optional or payable separately.
• Review availability and booking terms before committing.
